Help us recognize and thank those in the local community who have reached out to support and advocate for music therapy.
On Friday, November 13, 2015, the local committee of the 2015 American Music Therapy Association conference will be hosting an invitation-only breakfast for local advocates of music therapy, lawmakers, organizational and community leaders, and potential constituents. Invitees are also welcome to join us for the opening session in the Exhibit Hall Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 7:30 p.m., featuring The Same Sky Project (with pre-opening at 7:00 p.m. with the Kansas City Chiefs Drumline). If they would like to attend part of the conference, please let us know and arrangements can be made.
We are received suggestions from music therapists for individuals or organizations who have supported and advocated for the profession in Missouri and Kansas area. We also sought to include those decision makers who would benefit from learning more about music therapy and its potential benefits for their organizations and communities. If possible, we would like the nominating therapists to join us for the breakfast to welcome the attendees. We will be showcasing music therapy in the Kansas City area as well as have updates from national representatives.

Check in at the Registration Desk or Hospitality Table outside the Exhibit Hall and a volunteer will escort you to your seat.
Feel free to stay after the opening session and attend the Opening Reception/Take-A-Chance bidding event and experience our Exhibit Hall.
