Sponsorship opportunities are still available for the 2015 American Music Therapy Association national conference. We’re expecting at least 1,400 music therapists and students at the conference in Kansas City this November, so this is a great way to increase your company’s visibility. Opportunities range from $50-$10,000 and may include:

• Sponsoring an Event (like the Legislative/Advocacy VIP Breakfast) or a Guest Speaker
• Sponsoring a Full-day Institute/Pre-Conference Training and Continuing Education Courses
• Sponsoring the Jam Rooms, where our attendees relax and make music together
• Partial sponsorship of the conference program, with your name/logo on the front
• And more!

 

There are also opportunities still for bag inserts.  One opportunity is a $100 sponsorship that allows the sponsor to advertise their product or services by providing 1,600 of YOUR OWN PRODUCTS for insertion in conference participant bags (items must be approved by AMTA).  The other opportunity is for notepads to be inserted into participant bags.  This is a $1,500 sponsorship to have their name/logo imprinted on notepads that will go to all conference attendees (up to 1,600 people).

Another sponsorship opportunity is the VIP Breakfast, held for invited guests on Friday, November 13. The breakfast is a special opportunity for local music therapists and national office representatives to recognize local advocates of music therapy, and highlight success stories of local music therapy services to educate legislators, local organization leaders, and potential constituents to highlight music therapy in the area and to thank them for their support.  Sponsorships for the breakfast are listed at $1,500/Gold, $1,000/Silver, $500/Bronze levels; however, it can also be broken down to $50 increments.  Help us build the profile of music therapy in the Kansas City community and thank its advocates by sponsoring the breakfast!

 

We are also still looking for local businesses who would like to offer discounts to conference attendees during the conference, which will be at the Sheraton Hotel- Crown Center November 10-15, 2015. In previous years, local restaurants, entertainment venues, and shops have offered discounts to attendees. The hospitality and PR committees will publicize these businesses at our hospitality table and in social media to encourage attendees to explore the great places Kansas City has to offer!
