This experiential, hands-on training is led by an integrative medical-music team. Attendees will gain an understanding of the RBL NICU music therapy model by applying techniques and interventions through use of songwriting, vocal work and exploration of the Remo RBL kit*. This training is open to professionals including MT-BCs, MDs, RNs and other health professionals besides music therapists. Second-year music therapy students who have completed two semesters of fieldwork at an AMTA equivalent program may be considered if space permits. Attendees who complete this institute will receive a certificate for completion of the Tier 1 RBL training. For more information on the RBL training please visit www.nicumusictherapy.org
*You may purchase the Remo Rhythm, Breath, Lullaby kit as a special offer for this institute for $200. The Remo RBL kit includes an ocean disc and gato box with travel bag, a $300 value!
