What will you be sharing?
We will share some of the strategies and lessons learned while building an integrated medical music therapy program.  Topics will include business skills, collaboration strategies, marketing and visibility ideas, and strategies for building and maintaining a vision for your program.

What is your experience with this topic?
The Norton Healthcare Music Therapy Program is a system-wide department that is fully integrated into inpatient and outpatient service lines.  I have had the privilege to build this program from one, part-position to a program that reaches into five facilities.

Where will attendees be able to implement the information you share?
Many of the topics will be applicable in a variety of settings.  Data collection and reporting, networking, and team building are valuable skills for any therapist.

Tell us something that makes your CMTE unique or different?
My team has built the program by applying existing research and techniques.  Our program is supported through the hospital operating budget.

Who should attend your class?
Therapists and students of all levels and in any setting can learn and share ideas and strategies.

What kind of information will attendees be walking away with?
A toolkit of ideas to help build or strengthen music therapy programming and business.
